Rainfall
Rainfall exceeding 300mm was observed in parts of southwestern Sudan, parts of western Eritrea, and in parts of northern Ethiopia.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 300 mm was observed in central to southern parts of Sudan, in much of western and central Eritrea, in much of South Sudan, in northern, western and central Ethiopia, in northern, western and eastern Uganda, and in western parts of Kenya,
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in in the area in the northern parts of Sudan, coastal and southern Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in southern and eastern margins of central Ethiopia and in northeastern Ethiopia, in southern and northeastern Uganda, in Rwanda, in southern Somalia, and in parts of central and coastal Kenya.
No rain conditions were in northern parts of Sudan, in coastal parts of Djibouti, in northern, central and southwestern Somalia, in southern and eastern Ethiopia, in northern, eastern, central and southern Kenya, and in several parts of Burundi and Tanzania.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in northern and central Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea and Djibouti, in northeastern parts of Ethiopia, and in northwestern and parts of southern Somalia.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in southeastern Sudan, in parts of northeastern, western and eastern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Rwanda and Burundi, in southwestern Uganda, in northwestern and south-central Kenya, and in northern and eastern Tanzania.
Usual or no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in southwestern and southern parts of Sudan., in western and central Ethiopia, in parts of northern, western and eastern South Sudan, in parts of northern, northeastern, central and southern Uganda, in several parts of Rwanda and Burundi, in northwestern and southern Kenya, and in northwestern, eastern and southeastern Tanzania.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in northern to central parts of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea and Djibouti, in northwestern and parts of southern Somalia, and in parts of northeastern Ethiopia.
Usual and no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
