Rainfall
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 300 mm was observed in several parts of South Sudan, in western Ethiopia, in southern parts of Sudan, in northwestern Uganda, and in part of western Kenya.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in southern parts of Sudan, in southeastern South Sudan, in southwestern Eritrea, in central and northeastern parts of Ethiopia, in several parts of Uganda, in western and southeastern Kenya, in southeastern Somalia, and in northeastern and northern coast of Somalia
No rain conditions were in several northern and central parts of Sudan, in coastal, central and southern Eritrea, in Djibouti, Rwanda, and Burundi, in northeastern, southern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in several parts of northern, central and southwestern Somalia, and in much of Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in much of Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi, in central, coastal and southern Eritrea, in northeastern, central and southern Ethiopia, in northern and southern parts of Somalia, in several parts of northwestern, western, and central Kenya, and in parts of northern and eastern Tanzania.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in the areas of southeastern Sudan, southwestern Eritrea, northwestern Ethiopia, and northeastern South Sudan.
Usual or no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed central Eritrea, in central and southwestern Ethiopia, in parts of northwestern and southwestern South Sudan, in much of Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi, in several parts of Kenya, in parts of northern and southern Somalia, and in parts of northern and eastern Tanzania.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in southwestern Eritrea, in southeastern and parts of southwestern Sudan, in northwestern parts of Ethiopia, and in a few areas in southwestern and southeastern South Sudan.
Usual and no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
