Rainfall
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 300 mm was observed in Rwanda, Burundi, in parts of western Kenya, and in northwestern, western, eastern and southern Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in central and southern Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in several parts of northern, central, western and southwestern Ethiopia, in western, central and southern South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, in southern and northwestern parts of Somalia, in several parts of northern, central, central, southern and coastal Kenya, and in parts fo northern and central Tanzania.
No rain and dry conditions were in several parts of Sudan, northern South Sudan, western Eritrea, northwestern and eastern Ethiopia, northwestern Kenya, and in several areas of Somalia
Drier than usual conditions were observed in several parts of South Sudan, in southern and eastern Ethiopia, in several parts of Somalia and Uganda, in much of northern, central and eastern parts of Kenya, in northeastern Burundi, and in northern and central parts of Tanzania.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in central and southern parts of Eritrea, and in parts of central and northern Ethiopia.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in western Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in eastern and southwestern Uganda, in western southern and coastal parts of Kenya, in Rwanda, several parts of Burundi, and in northwestern, western, eastern and southern parts of Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in much of Sudan and in parts of northeastern Somalia.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in several parts of South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, northern Burundi, northern Kenya, in parts of central and northeastern Somalia, and in northern, central and southern Tanzania
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in parts of central and southern Eritrea, in a few area in Djibouti, in parts of northern and central Ethiopia, southern Burundi and in part of northwestern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
