Rainfall
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 300 mm were observed in western parts of South Sudan, in central, western and southwestern Ethiopia, in parts of northwestern and southeastern Uganda, in western Rwanda, in western and coastal parts of Kenya, and in northern coast of Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm observed over southern parts of Sudan, much of Eritrea, Djibouti and Somalia, in northern, central eastern and southern South Sudan, in in northeastern and central parts of Kenya, in several parts of Uganda, in eastern Rwanda, several parts of Burundi, and in northern western, eastern and southern Tanzania.
Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) were observed in several parts of Sudan,- southern Eritrea, northeastern Somalia, northwestern and eastern Kenya, and in central and western Tanzania.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in much of Eritrea, Djibouti, northeastern Ethiopia, and western part of Sudan.
Usual rainfall conditions observed over in parts of western, central and eastern Sudan, in western Eritrea, in central, eastern and southwestern Ethiopia, in northern Somalia, in western South Sudan, in western Uganda, western, northeastern and southern Kenya, several parts of Rwanda and Burundi, and in parts of Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions observed in southern parts of Sudan, eastern and southern South Sudan, in northwestern and southeastern part of Ethiopia, in southern and central Somalia, in several parts of Uganda, in northwestern, central, coastal and eastern Kenya, and in a few parts of central, southwestern and coastal Tanzania.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in parts of Eritrea, Djibouti and northeastern Ethiopia, parts of northwestern Somalia.
Moderately drier than usual to severely dry conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, in much of the northern, eastern and southern South Sudan, in northwestern Ethiopia, in several parts of Uganda, in northwestern, western, central and coastal Kenya, and in central and southern Somalia
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
