Rainfall
Moderate to high rainfall amounts of exceeding 500mm was observed in a western, southwestern and northeastern parts of Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall amounts of between 201-500mm were observed in much of Rwanda and Tanzania, and in western and southern Rwanda, and parts of western Kenya
Light rainfall between 11 - 200 mm was observed in several parts of Uganda, in eastern Rwanda, in western, central, southern and coastal Kenya, in southern parts of South Sudan, in central northeastern and southwestern Ethiopia, and in central, southern and coastal Eritrea.
No rainfall or less than 10mm was observed in the rest of the region.
Moderately dry to extremely dry conditions were observed in several parts of the region including Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia, western and southern South Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, western and southern Tanzania, and parts of Rwanda and Burundi.
Moderate to severely wet rainfall conditions were observed in a few areas in northeastern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
Drier than usual and much drier than usual conditions were observed in western and southern parts of South Sudan in several parts of Djibouti and Ethiopia, in Somalia, in northern and central Uganda, in much of northern, central and eastern Kenya, in parts of southeastern Tanzania.
Wetter than usual conditions were observed in northeastern part of Tanzania and southern coast of Kenya.
No rain condition was observed in the much of Sudan, in southwestern Eritrea, in northwestern and eastern Ethiopia, in northern and central South Sudan, and in several parts of Somalia.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in Rwanda, Burundi, western and southern \Kenya, southern parts of Uganda, and in several parts of Tanzania.
