Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall greater than 500mm were observed in extreme southern parts of Sudan, in western Ethiopia, in several parts of South Sudan, in northwestern to southeastern Uganda, and in western parts of Kenya
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 500 mm was observed in central to southern parts of Sudan, in western Eritrea, in central and northeastern parts of Ethiopia, in northeastern, western, southern and western Uganda, in coastal and parts of western Kenya, in western Rwanda, and in northern coast of Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was observed in western, central to eastern Sudan, in coastal, central and southern Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, in northeastern eastern Ethiopia, in northwest and southern parts of Somalia, in eastern Rwanda, much of Burundi, and in northwestern and eastern parts of Tanzania.
Dry conditions were observed in northern parts of Sudan, in parts of central Somalia, in southeastern Ethiopia, in northern, central, southern and eastern parts of Kenya, and in several parts of Tanzania.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in a few areas in western, central and eastern Sudan.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the central and southern parts of Sudan, in western Eritrea, in northwestern and western Ethiopia, in much of South Sudan, in northwestern, central and southeastern Uganda, in parts of western and coastal parts of Kenya, and in eastern parts of Tanzania.
Drier than and much drier than usual conditions were observed in the parts of northern Sudan, in central and southern parts of Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in much of Ethiopia, Somalia, Rwanda and Burundi, in southern parts of South Sudan, several parts of Kenya, and in northwestern and southern parts of Tanzania
Moderately dry to extremely dry conditions were observed in several parts of Ethiopia, in central and southern parts of Eritrea, in western and southern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Somalia, Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda, in northern parts of Sudan, in central and southern parts of Eritrea, and in western, central and southern parts of Tanzania.
Moderate to severely wetter than usual rainfall conditions were observed in a few areas in western, southwestern, central and eastern Sudan, in western part of Ethiopia, southeastern Uganda, and in western Kenya.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
