Moderate to heavy rainfall of over 200 mm was observed in northwestern South Sudan, and in western part of Ethiopia.

Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm observed in southwestern part of Sudan, in parts of western Ethiopia, in western and eastern parts of South Sudan, and in parts of western Kenya.

Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm observed over southern parts of Sudan, southwestern Eritrea, over margins of central, eastern and southwestern Ethiopia, in north-central to southeastern parts of South Sudan, over much of Uganda, western and coastal parts of Kenya, northwestern and southeastern Somalia, and in northern coast of Tanzania

No rainfall conditions (usual during this time of the year) in northern and central parts of Sudan, in coastal and southern parts of Eritrea, over several parts of Djibouti, northeastern and central parts of Somalia, in much of northern, southern and eastern parts of Kenya, over much of Burundi, eastern Rwanda, and much of the rest of Tanzania

Wetter than usual conditions observed in western, south-central and southeastern Sudan, western Eritrea, and in isolated area in northwestern South Sudan, and western Ethiopia.
