This utility tool helps to generate satellite animations for any selected place, especially targeting cylone affected areas. The animations are generated from the Eumetsat Meteosat Satellite data. The animation (atleast for East Africa & Indian Ocean regions) is limited to daytime hours since the satellite captures data for East Africa and Indian ocean during the day. To effectively use the tool for generating cyclone animations, you need to know beforehand the area of interest and the date of the Cylone. The data's temporal extent is from 2020-08-01 to latest. You can also use the tools to generate an animation for an area of interest for any date, not necessary affected by a cyclone.
