Rainfall
Moderate rainfall between 500 - 1000 mm was observed over western and northwestern Ethiopia, and in northwestern South Sudan.
Light rainfall between 200 - 500 mm was observed over southern parts of Sudan, in much of South Sudan, in northern and central parts of Ethiopia, in northern, central and eastern parts of Uganda, in western and coastal parts of Kenya, and in a few areas in southeastern Somalia.
Rainfall between 10 - 200 mm was observed in central parts of Sudan, western and central Eritrea, over several parts of Djibouti, in northeastern, eastern and southern Ethiopia, in much of northwestern, central and southern Somalia, in western and southwestern Uganda, much of Rwanda and Burundi, in northeastern and central parts of Kenya, and in northern and eastern parts of Tanzania.
Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) were observed in northern Sudan, northwestern Somalia, northwestern and eastern parts of Kenya, and in central western and southern parts of Tanzania.
Wetter than usual conditions were observed in parts of western, central and eastern Sudan.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern parts of central and southern Sudan, in much of South Sudan, western and central Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, northern and western Ethiopia, in central and southwestern Somalia, in southeastern parts of Uganda, in much of Rwanda and Burundi, in western, northeastern and coastal parts of Kenya, and in northwestern parts of Tanzania.
Moderately drier than usual conditions were observed in southwestern part of South Sudan, in southern part of Eritrea, in central, southern, northeastern and eastern Ethiopia, in northern and parts of southern Somalia, in much of north, central and western Uganda, in northwest, central and southeastern Kenya, and in much of Tanzania.
Moderate to severely wet rainfall conditions were observed in parts of western, central and eastern Sudan, in part of northwest South Sudan, in western Eritrea, and in parts of northern and western of Ethiopia.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, southwestern Eritrea, in north, western and parts of eastern Ethiopia, in central and southwestern Somalia, northwestern and eastern parts of South Sudan, in northeastern and western parts of Kenya, in much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in northern and western parts of Tanzania.
Moderately dry to extremely dry rainfall conditions were observed coastal and southern Eritrea, in much of central, and eastern Ethiopia, northern and southeastern Somalia, in southwestern and central South Sudan, in much of Uganda, in northwestern, central and southeastern Kenya, and in much of the rest of Tanzania.
