Rainfall
- Much wetter than usual conditions were observed in isolated parts in central and north-eastern Sudan.
- Wetter than usual conditions were observed in most parts of central and north-eastern Sudan, northern Tanzania, north-eastern Ethiopia, and south-eastern Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed in most parts of Ethiopia, South Sudan, southern parts of Sudan; south-western, north-western, and eastern of Uganda; the highland of western and coastal parts of Kenya.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions were observed in south-eastern South Sudan, northern Uganda, most parts of Burundi and Rwanda, northern Tanzania, eastern and northern Kenya, southern and northern Somalia, and south-eastern Ethiopia.
