Rainfall

Moderate to heavy rainfall between 51 - 100 mm was observed in parts of western Kenya, in northwestern Tanzania, in northern and eastern parts of Burundi, in western and northwestern parts of Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall between 26 - 50 mm was observed in several parts of northcentral and southern parts of Uganda, in parts of western and central Kenya, in western and eastern parts of Rwanda, in southern Burundi, and in northwestern, central and southern parts of Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in the southwestern part of Ethiopia, in southern part of South Sudan, in northern northeastern and central pars of Uganda, in southern part of Somalia, in several parts of northwestern, central and coastal Kenya, and in northeastern Tanzania.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in much of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea, Djibouti, in much of Ethiopia, in several parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Somalia, and in northern, northwestern and eastern parts of Kenya.

Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in much of Uganda, in southwestern South Sudan, in western part of Kenya, in northwestern Rwanda, and in eastern part of Burundi.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in parts coastal and central parts of Eritrea, in parts of eastern and western Rwanda, in parts of central Uganda, in in northwestern and western Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in much of Sudan, in western Eritrea, in several parts of South Sudan, in much of northern, western, central and eastern Ethiopia, and in several parts of Somalia,
Drier than usual conditions were observed in northcentral, and southwestern Ethiopia, in southeastern South Sudan, in several parts of Kenya, in southern Burundi, and in northeastern, eastern and southern Tanzania.

Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in parts of the southwestern South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, western and northcentral parts of Kenya, and in a few areas in north-central and central Tanzania.
Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in some parts of southeastern South Sudan, southeastern and coastal Kenya, southwestern Ethiopia, in southern Burundi, in in northeastern and southwestern part of Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region including Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, in several parts of Rwanda and Kenya, northern Burundi, and in much of the rest of Tanzania.
