Rainfall
Wetter than usual conditions were observed in western and central Eritrea, in several parts of South Sudan, in northwestern, western, southern and eastern Ethiopia, in several parts of Somalia and Kenya, in southeastern and central parts of Uganda, and in western and eastern parts of Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in southern Eritrea, in northeastern and central parts of Ethiopia, in parts of southeastern South Sudan, northwestern Kenya and northeastern Uganda, and in several parts of central Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern parts of South Sudan, in northwestern and southeastern Uganda, in several parts of Rwanda, in parts of Burundi, and in parts of northwestern and southern Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in several parts of Sudan, in western Eritrea, in northeastern Somalia, in norther parts of South Sudan, in parts of northwestern Kenya, and in parts of central Tanzania.
Heavy rainfall of between 51-200 mm was observed in southwestern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in central and southern parts of Somalia, in eastern, central, coastal and western parts of Kenya, in western and southern parts of Uganda, in western Rwanda, southern Burundi, and in northwestern, and northeastern parts of Tanzania.
Moderate to heavy rainfall of between 26 - 50 mm was observed in parts of southeastern and southern Ethiopia, in parts of Rift Valley of Kenya, in northwestern, and southwestern Uganda, in eastern Rwanda, and in several parts of Burundi,
Light rainfall of between 5 - 25 mm was observed in western and southern parts of South Sudan. In western, central and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in northern coast of Eritrea, in central and northwestern parts of Somalia, in northeastern Uganda, in parts of northwestern Kenya, and in southwestern and southern parts of Tanzania.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in several parts of Sudan, in western and southern parts of Eritrea, in much of northern and central parts of Ethiopia, in parts of Djibouti, in northern parts of Somalia, in northern and central parts of South Sudan, in parts of northwestern Kenya, and in central parts of Tanzania.
