In-country Technical Training on Hazard Assessment using Earth Observation and GIS for Somalia
The aim of the training was to build capacity of member state on hazard assessment, monitoring and early warning using earth observation and GIS technologies towards disaster risk reduction in the region. Participants included technical staff responsible for disaster risk assessment, monitoring and early warning data/information generation, processing, sharing and reporting.
