- Warmer than usual conditions expected over central to north-eastern Sudan, much of South Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Kenya, Somalia, central to southern Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and north-western and eastern Tanzania.
- Normal temperature conditions expected in western to southern Sudan, north-western South Sudan, northern Ethiopia extending to adjacent areas of Eritrea, north-eastern Uganda, and central to western and parts of southern Tanzania.
- Cooler than usual conditions expected in parts of western Sudan, northeastern Uganda and central Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions expected over north-western and south-western Kenya, Rwanda, southern Burundi, and most parts of Tanzania.
- Drier than normal conditions expected over eastern Kenya, parts of southern Somalia, southern Uganda, north-western and southern Tanzania.
