- Warmer than usual conditions expected over most parts of the region with the highest probabilities over coastal Sudan and the eastern parts of the region.
- Normal temperature conditions are expected in northern Uganda, southern to central areas of South Sudan, and isolated areas in Sudan.
- Wetter than usual conditions expected over western Kenya, eastern Uganda, Burundi, and several places over Tanzania.
- Drier than normal conditions expected over southern Ethiopia, central to southern Somalia, central to eastern Kenya, central to western Uganda, and isolated areas in north-western Tanzania.
