Temperature
- Warmer than usual conditions are expected over eastern and northern Kenya, southern and north-eastern Somalia, southern and western Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, south-western Uganda, western and northern South Sudan, much of Ethiopia, Eritrea, and southern and eastern Sudan.
- Near usual temperature conditions are expected over central, coastal and north-western Kenya, much of northern Uganda, and north-western Sudan.
- Cooler than usual temperature conditions are expected over much of central and north-western Somalia, western Kenya, central Tanzania, Djibouti, eastern and south-eastern Ethiopia, and parts of central and western Sudan.
Wetter than usual conditions are expected over Central parts of East Africa
- Wetter than usual conditions are expected over Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, much of Somalia, southern and northern parts of Ethiopia, and much of eastern South Sudan.
- Usual rainfall conditions are likely over western areas of South Sudan, central Ethiopia, Djibouti, north-western areas of Somalia, and south-eastern Tanzania.
- Drier than usual conditions are likely over localized areas in central Ethiopia.
