- High likelihood of a wetter than usual July over much of Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Somalia, Eritrea, Rwanda, Burundi, and Sudan.
- High chances of a drier than usual month over much of Tanzania, southern and coastal Kenya, areas in southern and south western Uganda, north western South Sudan, parts of western Ethiopia, and isolated areas in central Somalia.
- High likelihood of a warmer than usual July over Tanzania, southern and eastern Kenya, southern areas of Somalia, southeastern, central and northeastern Ethiopia, Djibouti, northern and western parts of Sudan, much of southwestern South Sudan, southwestern Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi.
- High probability of normal to cooler than usual temperatures over much of western and northern Kenya extending to adjacent areas of Ethiopia, Uganda, and South Sudan, South Sudan - Sudan border extending to eastern parts of Sudan, northern and eastern Ethiopia and extending to central and northern Somalia.
