Temperature
- Warmer than usual temperatures likely to be recorded over southern and northern parts of Somalia, much of Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Sudan, much of South Sudan, much of Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and eastern and north-western Tanzania.
- Average temperature conditions likely to be recorded over south-western and part of central Tanzania, northern Uganda, southern parts of South Sudan, part of south-eastern Ethiopia, and central Somalia.
- Wetter than usual conditions likely to be recorded over northern Kenya, southern parts of Ethiopia, north-eastern Somalia, part of southern South Sudan, and western Uganda.
- Average rainfall is likely to be recorded over central areas of Ethiopia, areas in the Karamoja cluster, eastern Kenya, Rwanda, and central Tanzania.
- Drier than usual conditions likely to be recorded over much of Kenya, south-eastern Uganda, southern parts of Somalia, much of Tanzania, and Burundi.
Note: Much of South Sudan, northern parts of Ethiopia, northern Somalia, Djibouti, Eritrea, and Sudan are likely to get occasional rainfall in a generally dry month.
