- Wetter than normal conditions expected over southern parts of Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, Lake Victoria basin areas of Kenya, much of Ethiopia, parts of Djibouti, and north-western Somalia.
- Drier than normal conditions expected over eastern and part of northern Ethiopia, north-eastern Somalia, and part of north-western South Sudan.
- Warmer than normal conditions expected over northern Sudan, southern Ethiopia, south-western Kenya, and southern Uganda.
- Average temperatures likely to be recorded over central to north-eastern Somalia, central to south-eastern Kenya, north-western Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, parts of Uganda, and along the western borders of South Sudan.
- Cooler than normal conditions are likely over much of Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, north-western and southern Somalia, north-western to eastern Kenya, north-eastern Uganda, and southern parts of Tanzania.
