Application for Exhibition at GHACOF 71
The Greater Horn of Africa Climate Outlook Forum (GHACOF) is a regional platform convened by ICPAC that brings together member states, climate scientists, users, decision-makers, and development partners to release the seasonal climate outlook and develop sectoral advisories. As part of GHACOF 71, that will take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from the 25th to the 26th of August, 2025, we aim to enhance youth and academic engagement by offering a platform for students in Kenya to showcase their research, innovations, and ideas related to meteorology, climate services, climate information, and related fields.
Objective
To promote knowledge exchange and innovation among young climate professionals by providing students with a space to exhibit their work, learn from practitioners, and contribute to the climate services dialogue in the region.
Who Can Participate
Undergraduate and postgraduate students based in Kenya pursuing studies in:
- Meteorology
- Climate science
- Environmental science
- GIS & Remote Sensing
- Other climate-related fields
How to Apply

Selected participants will be notified by 11th August 2025.
