In partnership with the WMO (World Meteorological Organization), ICPAC received vital support under the CREWS-Horn of Africa project, to further reinforce national and regional climate data management and analysis capabilities. This has led to this training which is going to fulfil the CREW-Horn of Africa project Objective 3.0, Building capacity to deliver operational data services to support operational LRF and climate monitoring. This involves developing quality controlled regional gridded climate data (merged station observation with satellite data); generating monthly and ten-day gridded data & products; and training NMHSs on climate data management (Climsoft), data merging and generation of relevant climate products
