High daily-mean temperatures above 30 ̊C expected in coastal Tanzania, eastern and northwestern Kenya, central and southern Somalia, South Sudan, southern regions of Sudan, Eritrea and northeastern Ethiopia.
Moderate daily-mean temperatures between 20 to 30 ̊C expected in much of Tanzania, eastern Rwanda and Burundi, Uganda, parts of western and southwestern Kenya, northern Somalia, parts of central and northeastern Ethiopia, and northern Sudan.
Low daily-mean temperatures less than 20 ̊C expected in central to northern parts of Ethiopia, parts of central and western Kenya, parts of southern Tanzania, and western Burundi and Rwanda.

Moderate rainfall between 50 to 200 mm expected in central and northern Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, southern and eastern Kenya, southwestern Somalia, western South Sudan and southwestern Ethiopia.
Light rainfall less than 30 mm forecasted in much of southern Tanzania, northwestern Kenya, much of Uganda, parts of southwestern and northern Somalia, parts of southern, central and northern Ethiopia, and much of South Sudan.
Central Somalia, southeast and northern Ethiopia, southeastern Tanzania, Sudan, parts of western Kenya and central Uganda are expected to remain dry.
