High daily-mean temperatures above 30 ̊C expected in much of South Sudan, southern Sudan, parts of northwestern and eastern Kenya, central and southern Somalia, and southeastern and northwestern Ethiopia.
Moderate daily-mean temperatures between 22 and 30 ̊C expected over much of Tanzania, Uganda, central and northern Sudan, parts of central Ethiopia, and northern Somalia.
Moderate to low daily-mean temperatures below 22 ̊C expected over parts of western, central and southwestern Kenya, northern and southwestern Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, central and northern Ethiopia, parts of northern Somalia, and northwestern Sudan.

Heavy rainfall over 200 mm expected in some pocket areas of northeastern Tanzania, central and southwestern Kenya, and southwestern Ethiopia.
Moderate rainfall between 50 and 200 mm expected in northern Tanzania, much of Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, western and eastern parts of South Sudan, western Ethiopia, and southwestern Somalia.
Light rainfall less than 50mm expected in central and southern Tanzania, central and northern Somalia, parts of northwestern Kenya, central and northern Ethiopia, northern South Sudan, southern Sudan, and coastal regions of Eritrea and Djibouti.
The rest parts of the region is expected to remain dry.
