Temperature
- High daily-mean temperatures above 30˚C expected over eastern and northern Kenya; Southern Somalia, coastal regions of Tanzania, Eastern parts of South Sudan and western tip of Ethiopia.
- Low daily-mean temperatures below 20˚C expected over central and rift valley parts of Ethiopia and Kenya; northern parts of Sudan and Somali, and parts of Rwanda and Burundi.
- Moderate to high rainfall between 50 and 200 mm expected over southern and coastal regions of Kenya; most parts of Tanzania and Burundi.
- Light rainfall up to 20mm expected over some parts of Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia and Rwanda.
- The rest of the region is expected to remain dry.
