Temperature
- High daily-mean temperatures above 30 ̊C expected in parts of southeastern and northeastern Ethiopia; parts of northwestern and eastern Kenya; southern parts of Sudan, much of South Sudan and southwestern Somalia.
- Moderate daily-mean temperatures in the range of 20-30 ̊C expected in central and northern Somalia; parts of central and southern Kenya; much of Tanzania, Uganda, central Sudan and parts of central Ethiopia.
- Low daily-temperatures less than 18 ̊C expected in central and northern Ethiopia; central and western Kenya; and northern Sudan.
- Heavy rainfall above 100 mm in most of Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda and parts of southwestern Kenya.
- Moderate rainfall between 30-100 mm expected in Uganda, Kenya, southwestern Somalia, southwestern Ethiopia and South Sudan.
- Light rainfall less than 30 mm expected in parts of northern and southern Somalia; parts of northern and eastern South Sudan; and central Ethiopia.
