- Significantly drier than normal conditions observed in Southern Tanzania.
- Very Good than usual average rainfall observed in southern and coastal parts of Tanzania, southern, central and western parts of Kenya, eastern parts of Uganda.
- Unusual high daytime temperature anomalies is recorded in western Sudan and eastern Kenya and Unusual hot nights is recorded in most parts of Kenya
