The IGAD's Food Security, Nutrition and Resilience Analysis Hub (IFRAH), hosted by the IGAD's Climate Prediction and Application Centre (ICPAC), was established under a directive from the Office of the IGAD Executive Secretary following a recognition of the multi-faceted, repetitive and overlapping nature of shocks which affect food security, nutrition and resilience in the IGAD region. This requires that analyses be conducted at various levels in a continuous, integrated, and coordinated way.

IFRAH seeks to engage an individual consultant to develop an IGAD Food Security and Nutrition web-based portal that will provide relevant actors with open access to comprehensive, up-to-date, and reliable food security and nutrition data and information for the IGAD region.
