Temperature
Rainfall anomalies
- More than usual rainfall expected over central to south-western regions of Uganda and Rwanda.
- Less than usual rainfall expected over eastern and southern Kenya, part of central to southern Somalia, Tanzania, and most parts of Burundi.
Temperature anomalies
- Warmer than usual temperatures expected over most parts of western and northern regions of GHA.
- Cooler than usual temperatures expected over areas in north-eastern parts of Kenya, eastern Ethiopia and central to northern parts of Somalia.
- Rainfall exceeding the 90th percentile expected over western parts of Rwanda.
Mean temperatures
- More than usual rainfall expected over south-western region Uganda and Rwanda.
- Less than usual rainfall expected over southern Kenya, southern Somalia, Tanzania, and most parts of Burundi.
Heat Stress
- Elevated heat stress levels expected in most parts of South Sudan, parts of southern Somalia, eastern and coastal parts of Kenya and south-eastern and coastal areas of Tanzania
Total rainfall
- More than usual rainfall expected over south-western region Uganda and Rwanda.
