Warm temperatures above 28℃ are expected in most of South Sudan, South Kordofan and Blue Nile states in Sudan, Turkana region in Kenya, limited areas in eastern Kenya, and south-western Somalia.
Moderate conditions in the range of 20 - 28℃ are expected in most of Sudan, western South Sudan, central to northern Uganda, much of eastern Kenya, central and southern Somalia, southern and north-eastern Ethiopia, and eastern Tanzania.
Relatively cold conditions with temperatures less than 20℃ are expected in regions of north-western Sudan, central Ethiopia, northern Somalia, south-western Kenya, all of Rwanda and Burundi, scattered areas in Uganda and Tanzania.

Rainfall Forecast 30 Dec - 06 Jan

Headline: Wetter conditions are expected in most of Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi.

Rainfall of more than 200 mm is expected over south-eastern Tanzania, 100 - 200 mm in the central part of the country, and 50 - 100 mm across the western part and extending north-west to Burundi and Rwanda. Limited rainfall of 1 - 10 mm is expected over Lake Victoria and its surrounding.
Rainfall between 50 - 100 mm is expected over scattered areas in western Kenya, western Uganda, southern Ethiopia, and central Somalia.
The northern parts of the region including the northern parts of South Sudan and Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, and Sudan (except the coastal region) are expected to remain dry.
