Rainfall
- Heavy rainfall (between 100 - 200 mm) observed over isolated areas in central Tanzania.
- Moderate rainfall (between 50 - 100 mm) observed in most parts of Tanzania and southern Burundi.
- Light rainfall (between 25 - 50 mm) observed in most parts of southern and south-western Uganda, southern and south-eastern Kenya, southern and north-western Rwanda, northern Burundi, and south-eastern Tanzania.
- Rainfall range between 5 - 25 mm observed over the highland of south-western Ethiopia, central Uganda, central and south-western parts of Kenya, eastern Rwanda, and northern Tanzania.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) conditions almost everywhere in Sudan, South Sudan, Djibouti, Somalia, most pars of north-western Eritrea, south-eastern and north-western Ethiopia, and eastern Turkana and Mandera sub-county of Kenya.
- Heavy rainfall (between 100 - 200 mm) was recorded in parts of south-west and south-east Tanzania.
- Moderate rainfall (between 50 - 100 mm) observed in most southern parts of Burundi, and central and south-western parts of Tanzania.
- Light rainfall (between 25 - 50 mm) observed in most parts of north-western Tanzania, northern Burundi, and around the Lake Victoria Basin.
- Rainfall range between 5 - 25 mm observed in several parts of Rwanda, central Kenya, central and south-western Uganda, and over a few parts of southern Ethiopia.

- Usual rainfall conditions observed in central and north-eastern Ethiopia, most parts of Rwanda, northern Burundi, central Uganda, and south-western and western Tanzania.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in most parts of south-eastern Tanzania; most parts of western, central and south-eastern Kenya; northern Uganda, and sporadic areas in south-western and north-eastern Ethiopia.
- Much drier than usual conditions observed over isolated areas in Ethiopia.
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed over south-east Tanzania and south-central Uganda.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in south-western Tanzania, over much of Lake Victoria peripheral, and in central Uganda.
