Rainfall

Moderate to heavy rainfall of between 26 - 100 mm was observed in western South Sudan, in western, southern, central and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in parts of western Eritrea, in parts of northern Somalia, in northwestern and southeastern Uganda, western and coastal parts of Kenya, and in coastal parts of Tanzania.
Light rainfall of between 5 - 25 mm was observed in western and central parts of Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, southern parts of Sudan, in northern and eastern South Sudan, in parts of northern, northeastern and southeastern Ethiopia, in central and southern parts of Somalia, in parts of central and northeastern Kenya, in much of Rwanda and Burundi, in northeastern, central and southwestern Uganda, and in northern and eastern parts of Tanzania.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in much of northern, central and eastern Sudan, in southern parts of Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in northeastern and parts of southern Somalia, in northern and eastern parts of Kenya, in southeastern South Sudan, in southwestern Uganda, and in much of western, central and southern Tanzania.

Wetter than usual conditions were observed in much of Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in parts of western and eastern Sudan, in northern, southern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, and in parts of northern and central Somalia.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, in northern and eastern parts of South Sudan, in western and parts of eastern Ethiopia, in southern Somalia, in several parts of Uganda, in northern, central and eastern parts of Kenya, in several parts of Rwanda and Burundi, and in western and southern parts of Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were in western parts of South Sudan, in parts of southern Ethiopia, in northeastern Somalia, in part of northwestern Uganda, in western, central and southern parts of Kenya, and in northern and eastern parts of Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in much of Sudan, in parts of northern and eastern Kenya, and in central and western parts of Tanzania.
