Rainfall
- Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm observed in northern and south-western parts of South Sudan and highlands of Ethiopia.
- Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm observed in highlands of western Kenya, central and northern Uganda, central and north-eastern parts of South Sudan, and southern parts of Sudan.
- Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm observed over central Sudan, south-western and lake regions of Uganda, costal parts of Kenya, costal parts of southern Somalia, costal parts of northern Tanzania, and western Burundi.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) observed over most parts of northern Sudan, northern and central Somalia, eastern and northern Kenya, everywhere in Burundi and Djibouti, southern and eastern Rwanda, and most parts of Tanzania.
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed over most parts of southern and central Sudan.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed over western Sudan, north-western and northern parts of South Sudan.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in most parts of central South Sudan, central and western Ethiopia, highland of western Kenya, and southeastern and northwestern Uganda.
- Much drier than usual conditions observed over eastern Ethiopia, south-eastern South Sudan, costal parts of southern Somali, and central, north-western and costal parts of Kenya.
- Much drier than usual conditions observed in south-eastern parts of South Sudan.
- Moderately to severely wetter than usual conditions observed over western and northern bahr El Gazal in South Sudan, white and Blue Nile states in Sudan, and the Lake Victoria basins.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over south-western and northern South Sudan, most parts of central Ethiopia, highland of western Kenya, and south-western and central Uganda.
- Moderately to severely drier than usual conditions observed over scattered parts in western and northern Ethiopia, southern Somalia, northern Uganda, and southern and eastern parts of South Sudan.
