Online Training on Mainstreaming Climate Information into Radio Programming in Kenya

In order to improve adaptive capacity and resilience to current climate variability and change among targeted farmers, agro-pastoralists and pastoralist communities, there is need to strengthen the communication and feedback mechanisms that enable the flow of climate information from the producers to the end users for improved uptake.

ICPAC, through the ACREI project has been carrying out trainings with the media to improve dissemination of climate information. The trainings have been conducted repeatedly in both Kenya and Uganda and is scheduled to be initiated in Ethiopia.

As a continuation of these efforts, ICPAC is organising yet another half-day training for Taita Taveta, Kenya on Mainstreaming of Climate Services into Radio Programming.
