Rainfall
Rainfall exceeding 200mm was observed in western parts of Ethiopia.
Moderate rainfall of between 101mm and 200mm was also observed in the central and western parts of Ethiopia, western South Sudan, Uganda, western Kenya, Rwanda, and in northeastern Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 11 and 100 mm was observed in across the southern parts of Sudan, in the eastern and southern margins of central Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, in arid and semi-arid regions of Kenya, Burundi and several parts of Tanzania.
Little or No rain conditions not exceeding 10mm was observed in much of the rest of Sudan, in coastal, Somalia, Tanzania, in northern Ethiopia, and in northern Kenya.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in a few pockets in Eritrea, central South Sudan, several parts in Ethiopia, Djibouti, Somalia, eastern parts of Kenya, northwestern Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and several parts of Tanzanian.
Moderately wet to extremely wet conditions were observed in a few pockets in southwestern Ethiopia, eastern Uganda, central to western parts of Kenya, a few pockets in northern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall and no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
Much Wetter than usual conditions were observed in a few pockets in central Sudan, border region of Ethiopia and Sudan, central and western parts of Kenya and a few pockets in northern Tanzania.
Wetter than usual conditions were observed in areas in the vicinity of the above-mentioned regions.
Drier to much drier than usual conditions were observed in some parts of Sudan, South Sudan, eastern Ethiopia, western Eritrea, Djibouti, much of Somalia, eastern parts of Kenya, several parts in southern Tanzania and in Burundi.
Usual or no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
