- Moderate to heavy rainfall between 200 - 500 mm observed in south-eastern Tanzania, Lake Victoria basin, and highland of western Ethiopia.
- Moderate to heavy rainfall between 100 - 200 mm observed in central and south-western Ethiopia; north-eastern, central and southern parts of Kenya; south-western, western and northern Uganda; and north-eastern and north-western Tanzania.
- Light rainfall between 50 - 100 mm observed in southern and south-western South Sudan, most parts of Ethiopia, southern Somalia, upper and lower eastern parts of Kenya, and central Tanzania.
- Rainfall range 10-50 mm observed over Central and northern parts of South Sudan, northern-western and north-eastern Ethiopia, most parts of Eritrea and Djibouti, central and northern Somalia, north-western Kenya, and central Tanzania.
- Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) in most parts of Sudan.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in highlands of central and western Ethiopia, Blue Nile state of Sudan, Upper Nile state of South Sudan, western Kenya, and sporadic areas in Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in most parts of Tanzania, everywhere in Burundi, most parts of Rwanda and Uganda, southern and northern Somalia, and most parts of Somalia.
