Rainfall
- Moderate to heavy rainfall between 200 - 500 mm observed in south-eastern Tanzania, Lake Victoria basin, and highland of western Ethiopia.
- Moderate to heavy rainfall between 100 - 200 mm observed in central and south-western Ethiopia; north-eastern, central and southern parts of Kenya; south-western, western and northern Uganda; and north-eastern and north-western Tanzania.
- Light rainfall between 50 - 100 mm observed in southern and south-western South Sudan, most parts of Ethiopia, southern Somalia, upper and lower eastern parts of Kenya, and central Tanzania.
- Rainfall range 10-50 mm observed over Central and northern parts of South Sudan, northern-western and north-eastern Ethiopia, most parts of Eritrea and Djibouti, central and northern Somalia, north-western Kenya, and central Tanzania.
- Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) in most parts of Sudan.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in highlands of central and western Ethiopia, Blue Nile state of Sudan, Upper Nile state of South Sudan, western Kenya, and sporadic areas in Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in most parts of Tanzania, everywhere in Burundi, most parts of Rwanda and Uganda, southern and northern Somalia, and most parts of Somalia.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in south and south-western parts of South Sudan, northern and costal parts of Kenya, south-eastern Ethiopia, and central Somalia.
- Much drier than usual conditions observed in isolated small areas in northern Kenya.
- Moderately wetter to severely wetter than usual conditions observed in Lake Victoria basin, highlands of central and western Ethiopia, Blue Nile state of Sudan, Upper Nile state of South Sudan, western Kenya, and sporadic areas in Tanzania.
