- Warmer than usual maximum temperature recorded everywhere in Somalia, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Ethiopia; south-eastern and western parts of South Sudan; and western, northern, and red sea region of Sudan.
- Cooler than usual maximum temperature recorded in most parts of central, eastern and north-eastern South Sudan; eastern Sudan, and western and north-western Ethiopia.
- Warmer than usual minimum temperature recorded over western and northern Sudan, southern and western South Sudan, most parts of Ethiopia, northern and southern Somalia, central and eastern Tanzania, everywhere in Kenya, and Uganda.
- Cooler than usual minimum temperature recorded in central and eastern Sudan, central and north-eastern South Sudan, central Somalia, south-eastern Ethiopia, southern parts of Burundi, and western, north-western and southern Tanzania.

- Very Heavy rainfall (above 300 mm) observed in most parts of highlands of central Ethiopia.
- Heavy rainfall (between 200-300 mm) observed over most parts of south-western and north-western South Sudan, highlands of western Kenya; and most parts of southern, western, central and northern Ethiopia.
- Moderate rainfall (between 100-200 mm) observed in southern parts of Sudan, most parts of South Sudan, central and northern Uganda, and western Kenya.
- Light rainfall (between 50-100 mm) observed in southern and central parts of Sudan, north-eastern Ethiopia, western Eritrea, western Uganda, coastal parts of Kenya, and Somalia.
- Rainfall range between 10-50 mm observed over northern and some parts of central Sudan, most parts of central and southern Somalia, south-western Uganda, north-eastern Kenya, and coastal parts of Tanzania.
- Usual Dry conditions (usually in this time of season) in most parts of north-eastern Kenya, most parts of Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania and Somalia.
