- Moderate rainfall between 100 - 300 mm observed in most parts of Tanzania, north-eastern Burundi, south and western Rwanda, and southern Kenya.
- Light rainfall between 50 - 100 mm observed in southern and south-western Uganda, north-eastern Tanzania, and southern and western Kenya.
- Rainfall range 10-50 mm observed over south-western and highlands of Ethiopia, central Uganda, and south-eastern and central Kenya.
- Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) in most parts of Sudan, and central and northern South Sudan.
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed over southern Kenya and isolated areas in eastern and northern Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in central and northern Tanzania, south and western Burundi, south and western Uganda, and southern and central parts of Kenya.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in most parts of southern and north-eastern Tanzania, central Uganda, north-eastern Burundi, most parts of Tanzania, and south-western and highland of central Ethiopia.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in southern parts of south Sudan, eastern Kenya, northern Uganda and eastern Ethiopia.
- Moderately wetter to severely wetter than usual conditions observed over central, western and northern parts of Tanzania, south-western Burundi, south and south-western Kenya, and south-western Uganda.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over most parts of southern Tanzania, northern parts of Burundi, most parts of Rwanda, central Uganda, central and northern Kenya, and most parts of Ethiopia.
- Moderately drier to severely driest than usual conditions observed in most parts of South Sudan , eastern Kenya, southern Somalia, and south-western and eastern Tanzania.
