- Rainfall range 10-50 mm observed over south-western and highlands of Ethiopia, central Uganda, and south-eastern and central Kenya.
- Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) in most parts of Sudan, and central and northern South Sudan.
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed over southern Kenya and isolated areas in eastern and northern Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in central and northern Tanzania, south and western Burundi, south and western Uganda, and southern and central parts of Kenya.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in most parts of southern and north-eastern Tanzania, central Uganda, north-eastern Burundi, most parts of Tanzania, and south-western and highland of central Ethiopia.
