- Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm observed in most parts of central and northern Tanzania, everywhere in Burundi.
- Light rainfall between 50 - 100 mm observed over north-eastern Tanzania, southern Uganda, and most parts of southern and south-western Kenya.
- Very light rainfall between 10 - 50 mm observed over most parts of northern Kenya, central and northern Uganda, and south-western Ethiopia.
- Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) everywhere in Sudan, central and northern South Sudan, north-eastern Ethiopia, and central and northern Somalia.
- Much wetter than usual conditions not observed over the region.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in isolated areas in central and north-easternTanzania, over much of Lake Victoria peripheral, and in central Uganda.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in most parts Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, south-western Uganda, and central and northern Ethiopia.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed over most parts of Kenya, northern and north-eastern Uganda, southern parts of South Sudan, and south-western Ethiopia.
- Much drier than usual conditions observed over isolated areas in Kenya.
- Moderately wetter to severely wetter than usual conditions observed over a few areas in central and north-western Tanzania, and in southern parts of Uganda.
