- Observed along the coastal and northwestern parts of Tanzania, eastern Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, western and coastal Kenya, the southern coastal and northern parts of Somalia, several parts of Ethiopia, southeastern South Sudan, Sudan, Djibouti, and Eritrea.
Little or no rain conditions not exceeding 10 mm
- Recorded across most parts of Tanzania, several parts of Kenya, pockets in Somalia, southeastern Ethiopia, Eritrea, and northern Sudan.
