Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall of over 200 mm was observed in a western and eastern parts of Burundi, and in northwestern and western parts of Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm observed in southern parts of Uganda, in western parts of Kenya, in western Rwanda, in several parts of Burundi, and in northwestern, central, eastern, and southern parts of Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm observed over the southern parts of South Sudan, in coastal and central parts of Eritrea, in southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in northern, central, eastern and western parts of Uganda, in several parts of Kenya, in southern Somalia, in eastern Rwanda, and in northeastern parts of Tanzania.
Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) in much of Sudan, northern and central parts of South Sudan. In western and southern Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in several parts of Ethiopia, in northern and central Somalia, and in northern parts of Kenya
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions observed in several parts of Uganda, in western part of Kenya, and in northwestern, central and northeastern part of Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions observed over much of Sudan, much of Eritrea, several parts of South Sudan, in southern parts of Somalia, in southwestern Uganda, in several parts of Rwanda and Burundi, and in several parts of Tanzania.
Drier than usual and much drier than usual conditions observed in several parts of Ethiopia, in central and southwestern parts of Somalia, in southern parts of South Sudan, and in several parts of Kenya.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in several parts of Uganda, in southern part of South Sudan, in northwestern, central and northeastern part of Tanzania, and in western parts of Kenya.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed several parts of Ethiopia, in parts of southwestern and central Somalia, and in northwestern, central and coastal parts of Kenya.
Usual rainfall conditions much of the rest of the region recorded no rainfall or usual rainfall condition.
