Rainfall

- Moderate to heavy rainfall (between 200 - 500 mm) observed in most of central and southern parts of Tanzania, and in isolated parts of western Kenya and north-western Burundi.
- Moderate rainfall (between 100 - 200 mm) observed in western Kenya, Rwanda, most of Burundi, and in northern, western, and eastern parts of Tanzania.
- Light rainfall (between 10 - 100 mm) observed over central and south-western Ethiopia, most of central and southern Uganda, central and southern Kenya, and north-eastern Tanzania.
- Dry conditions (normal for this time of the year) observed in most of Sudan, South Sudan, Djibouti, Eritrea, Somalia, several parts of northern, eastern and southern Ethiopia, northern Uganda, and in northern and eastern Kenya.

Wetter than normal conditions observed in central and southern parts of Uganda, western and central-southern parts of Kenya, most of Rwanda, northern Burundi, and over most of northern, eastern and central Djibouti, central and southern Eritrea, and southern Tanzania.
Normal rainfall conditions observed over western Ethiopia, central margins of Uganda, central and coastal Kenya, southern Burundi, and in western and south-eastern parts of Tanzania.
Moderately drier than normal conditions observed in southern parts of South Sudan, central and southern Ethiopia, northern and south-eastern Uganda, northern and eastern parts of Kenya, and south-western and north-western Somalia.
Much drier than normal conditions observed in isolated parts of south-western South Sudan.

- Moderately to severely wetter than normal conditions observed in southern parts of Uganda, several parts of Rwanda, northern Burundi, western and southern Kenya, and in much of northern, central, southern, and eastern Tanzania.
- Normal rainfall conditions observed in most of Sudan, Djibouti, Eritrea, Somalia, Ethiopia, central and northern-central Uganda, most of northern, central and coastal parts of Kenya, western Rwanda, southern Burundi, and western and coastal parts of Tanzania.
- Moderately to severely drier than normal conditions observed in western and southern parts of South Sudan, northern Uganda, and in some isolated parts of north-western and eastern Kenya.
