Moderate to heavy rainfall of over 200 mm was observed in parts of western, and southwestern Sudan, in northwestern South Sudan, and in northwestern and western parts of Ethiopia.

Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm observed in southern parts of Sudan, much of the rest of South Sudan, southwestern Eritrea, in central parts of Ethiopia, and in some part of western Kenya.

Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm observed over s central parts of Sudan, northwestern and central Eritrea, in some areas in Djibouti, in northeastern Ethiopia, southern parts of Somalia, , in northern, central and eastern Uganda, in western, central and coastal parts of Kenya and in the northern coast of Tanzania.

Little or no rainfall conditions (usual during this time of the year) in northern parts of Sudan, in coastal parts of Eritrea, over coastal parts of Djibouti, northern and central parts of Somalia, in much of northern, southern and eastern parts of Kenya, in southwestern Uganda, over much of Burundi, Rwanda, and in much of the rest of Tanzania

Wetter than usual conditions observed in parts of western, central and eastern Sudan, and in a few areas in northern Djibouti.

Usual rainfall conditions observed over much of the southern parts of Sudan, in Eritrea, much of South Sudan, in northern, western and southern part of Ethiopia, southern Somalia, and in western central and coastal parts of Kenya.

Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in some areas central, eastern and southwestern Ethiopia, in northwestern Somalia, over much of Uganda, in northwestern and eastern parts of Kenya, and in parts of Rwanda.

Much drier than usual conditions observed in a few areas in southwestern Uganda and northern Tanzania.

Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in western, central and eastern Sudan, in a few isolated areas in northwest and eastern South Sudan, northern Djibouti, and in northern and western Ethiopia.

Usual rainfall conditions were observed eastern and southern parts of Sudan, over much of Eritrea, Djibouti, over several parts of South Sudan, in parts of northern, western, and southern Ethiopia, in western, central and coastal parts of Kenya, western Rwanda, and in southwestern Somalia.

Moderately drier than usual to severely dry conditions were observed in southwestern part of Sudan, in northwestern and central parts of Somalia, in central and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in southwestern part of South Sudan, over much of Uganda, in parts of eastern Rwanda, and in northern and eastern parts of Kenya.
