Observed rainfall conditions for November 2021
Rainfall

- Moderate to heavy rainfall between 200 - 500 mm was observed in central highlands of Kenya.
- Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm observed in western and southeastern parts of Uganda, western Rwanda, much of Burundi, western parts of Kenya and in parts of northwest Tanzania.
- Light rainfall between 50 - 100 mm observed in southwest and southeast South Sudan, in isolated area in southwest Ethiopia, in southern and northeast Uganda, in southwest Somalia, eastern and coastal parts of Kenya, eastern Rwanda, and western and northwest Tanzania.
- Rainfall range 10-50 mm observed over western and southern Ethiopia, northwest, central and eastern parts of South Sudan, northern parts of Kenya, and over much of central and southern Tanzania.
- Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) in most of Sudan, northern South Sudan, northern central and eastern Ethiopia, over much of Eritrea, Djibouti, northern and central Somalia, northwest Kenya, and central Tanzania.

- Wetter than usual conditions observed in a few isolated parts in western South Sudan and central highland of Kenya.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over several parts of South Sudan, western and central Uganda, western, central and northeast Kenya, southwest Somalia, western Rwanda, and much of Burundi.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in southern parts of Sudan, southern and eastern Ethiopia, over much of north and eastern Kenya, Somalia, eastern Rwanda, and eastern Tanzania.
- Much drier than usual conditions was observed in much of Ethiopia , Somalia, western and southern Uganda, in the Rift Valley, and north west, eastern and coastal parts of Kenya, western Rwanda, and much of Tanzania

- Moderately wetter than usual to severely wet conditions were observed in isolated areas in western South Sudan.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed in most of Sudan, Djibouti, Eritrea, northern western and central Ethiopia, northern, central and southwest Uganda, southwest Rwanda, western Burundi, over southern Somalia, northeast, and eastern Tanzania, and in several parts of Kenya.
- Moderately drier than usual to severely dry conditions were observed in southern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, northern and central Somalia, northwest and southeast Kenya, in northwest, central, eastern and southern Uganda, eastern Rwanda, and over several parts of Tanzania.
