Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall of over 200 mm was observed in western parts of South Sudan, in parts of northwestern and western Ethiopia, and in the western highlands of Kenya.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm observed in the southern parts of Sudan, in several parts of South Sudan, in western and central parts of Ethiopia, in much of western, central and southeastern Uganda, in western parts of Kenya, and in northwestern Rwanda.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm observed in much of western, central and eastern parts of Sudan, in western and southern Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, in northeastern, eastern and southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in southeastern part of South Sudan, in northwestern and southern parts of Somalia, in eastern margins of western Kenya and in coastal parts of Kenya, in eastern and southern Rwanda, in much of Burundi, and in northwestern parts of Tanzania and northern coast of Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions (usual during this time of the year) in northern parts of Sudan, in coastal and central parts of Eritrea, in northeastern, central and parts of southern Somalia, in southern parts of Ethiopia, in northern, eastern, central and south-central parts of Kenya, and in much of Tanzania.
Wetter than usual conditions observed in some parts of western, central and eastern Sudan, in southern Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, in parts of northern and northeastern Ethiopia, in Western Kenya, and in northeastern and eastern Rwanda
Usual rainfall conditions observed over much of the southern parts of Sudan, western Eritrea, several parts South Sudan, in northern, western and central parts of Ethiopia, in parts of northwestern Somalia, in several parts of Uganda, in western and central parts of Rwanda, and in parts of northwestern Tanzania.
Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in some northern coast and in central parts of Eritrea, in much of northeastern, central and southern Somalia, in southern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in eastern and central parts of Kenya, in much of Burundi, and in parts of northwestern and parts of eastern Tanzania.
No rain was observed in northern parts of Sudan, coastal Eritrea, in parts of central Somalia, in parts of northern, central and south-central Kenya, and in western, central and southern parts of Tanzania.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed some parts of western, central to eastern and southeastern Sudan, in a few areas in northwest and western South Sudan, in southern parts of Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, in parts of northern and northeastern Ethiopia, in western Kenya, in southeastern part of Uganda, and in northeastern and eastern parts of Rwanda.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, in western Eritrea, in parts of northern and central Ethiopia, in several parts of South Sudan, several parts of western and eastern Uganda, in central and southern Rwanda, and in the Lake Victoria region and parts of eastern Tanzania.
Moderately drier than usual to severely dry conditions were observed in parts of western and northeastern Sudan, in a few areas in the southern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of western, central southern and eastern Ethiopia, in northern and southern parts of Somalia, in central parts of Uganda, in several parts of Burundi, in central and coastal parts of Kenya, and in northwestern and parts of eastern Tanzania.
