Rainfall
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 300 mm was observed in the southern parts of Sudan, in southwestern Eritrea, in much of northern and western South Sudan, in western, northwestern, and central Ethiopia, in southeastern Uganda and in parts of western Kenya.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in the western, central to eastern Sudan, in western coast and central parts of Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in northeastern and central parts of Ethiopia, in southeastern parts of Somalia, in southeastern parts of South Sudan, in much of Uganda in much of western and coastal Kenya.
Dry conditions were in northern parts of Sudan, in coastal and southern Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in eastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in several parts of Somalia, in much of northern, eastern, central and southern Kenya, in southwestern parts of Uganda, and in much of Burundi, Rwanda and Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions observed in central and southern parts of Sout Sudan, in central and southern parts of Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, in several parts of Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi, in parts of northern and southern Somalia, in western and central parts of Kenya, and in parts of eastern Tanzania
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed a western and eastern parts of Sudan.
Usual rainfall conditions observed over southern pats of Sudan, in western Eritrea, in northwestern parts of Ethiopia, in northern and western South Sudan, and coastal parts of Kenya.
Moderately dry to extremely dry conditions were observed in central and southern parts of Eritrea, in several parts of South Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi, and in several parts of Kenya and northern Tanzania.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in a few areas in central and eastern Sudan.
