Rainfall

Heavy rainfall of between 200 - 500 mm was observed in central and southern Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm was observed in southwestern Rwanda, in much of Burundi, in southwestern parts of Kenya, and in northern and western parts of Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in northern coast and in central parts of Eritrea, in northern, central and southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in much of central to southern parts of Uganda, in several parts of western, central and southern Kenya, and in central to eastern parts of Rwanda.
No rain and dry conditions were in several parts of Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, in northwestern and eastern Ethiopia, in western parts of Eritrea, in northern and eastern parts of Kenya, and in northern Uganda.

Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in western and southern parts of Kenya, and in northern, northeastern, central, eastern and southern Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in southern parts of South Sudan, in central and southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in much of northern, central and southwestern parts of Uganda, in northern, eastern and coastal parts of Kenya.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in northern and central parts of Ethiopia, in much of central Kenya, in several parts of southern Uganda, in much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in several parts of northwester, western and southwestern Tanzania

Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in western and southern parts of Kenya, and in northern, central, eastern and southern parts of Tanzania.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in southern parts of South Sudan, in parts of Djibouti, in northeastern, central and southwestern parts of Uganda, in northwestern Kenya, and in western parts of Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
