Rainfall
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 500 mm in the southern parts of Sudan, in southwestern Eritrea, in much of South Sudan, in western and central Ethiopia, in southwestern Uganda and in parts of western Kenya.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in the western, central and eastern Sudan, in western and central parts of Eritrea, in a few areas of Djibouti, in northeastern and central parts of Ethiopia, in southern parts of Somalia, in southern parts of South Sudan, in much of Uganda in much of western and coastal Kenya.
Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) were northern and parts of central Sudan, in coastal and southern Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in much of the northern and central Somalia, in much of northern, eastern, central and southern Kenya, in southwestern parts of Uganda, and in much of Burundi, Rwanda and Tanzania.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed a small isolated area in western Sudan.
Usual rainfall conditions observed over southern pats of Sudan, in southwestern Eritrea, in western and southern parts of Ethiopia, in much of north, central, western and eastern South Sudan, in some parts of southwestern Somalia, in eastern and coastal parts of Kenya.
Drier than usual conditions observed in central and eastern Sudan, in much of Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in southern parts of South Sudan, in northern, central and southern Ethiopia, in northwestern and southeastern parts of Somalia, and in a few areas in southeastern Uganda and western and coastal parts of Kenya.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in a few areas in western and southwestern Sudan, and in western Ethiopia.
Moderately drier than usual to severely dry conditions were much of Eritrea, in western and south-central parts of Sudan, in several parts of South Sudan, in much of northern, eastern and central Ethiopia, in northwestern and southern Somalia, in much of Uganda, and in several parts of Kenya
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
