Rainfall

Rainfall exceeding 300mm was observed in western and central parts of Ethiopia, and in a few isolated parts of western Sudan and northwestern South Sudan.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 300 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, in southwestern Eritrea, in several parts of South Sudan, in northern, western and central Ethiopia, in northern, central and eastern Uganda, and in parts of western Kenya.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in in the area stretching from western through central to eastern Sudan, in northwestern and central parts of Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in northeastern Ethiopia, in southwestern Uganda, in southern parts of Somalia, in northwestern and coastal parts of Kenya.
No rain conditions were in northern parts of Sudan, coastal and southern Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in much of northern, central and southwestern Somalia, in eastern and southern Ethiopia, in several parts of northern, eastern and southern Kenya, in much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in several parts of Tanzania.

Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in western and central parts of Sudan, in southeastern South Sudan, in southern central to northeastern Ethiopia, in parts of central Eritrea, in several parts of southern, central and eastern Uganda, and in much of western and Kenya
Drier than usual conditions were observed in parts of southeastern Somalia, eastern parts of Kenya and in some parts of eastern and southeastern Tanzania.
Usual or no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.

Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in central to western and southwestern Sudan, in parts of northern and southeastern South Sudan, in parts of western and central Eritrea, in southwestern, central to northeastern Ethiopia extending to southern Djibouti and northeastern Somalia, in eastern, central and southern Uganda, and in several parts of western Kenya.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed south east Somalia and in isolated parts of south-central Sudan, southwestern Eritrea, western Ethiopia, eastern Kenya and eastern and southern Tanzania.
Usual and no rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
